Arpoador Inn is the only hotel in Rio on Arpoador Beach, the scenic stretch of sand East side of Ipanema Beach. The location couldn't be more convenient - you are in a walking distance from the best Ipanema and Copacabana have to offer. This charming inn has only 50 rooms distributed along 6 floors. All units are en-suite and have front-desk controlled air-conditioning. Standard conveniences include a closet with private safety box, a set of twin beds or a double bed, color TV with cable channels in English, phone, and a small refrigerator. Deluxe rooms overlook the ocean and the coconut-tree-lined street along Arpoador Beach. Rua Francisco Bhering is open for pedestrians and residents only, so you may open your window at night and go to sleep to the gentle sound of surf breaking. Superior rooms on the other facade of the building, facing Rua Francisco Otaviano (they do not have a view to the beach). Standard rooms are the most reasonably priced alternative.
